Lisa was called to the Bar in July 2017.
Previously she had worked for 19 years as a family lawyer and partner at a large firm of solicitors with offices in Essex.
She began her career as a Legal Executive, working full time as well as studying to become a solicitor and then obtaining her Higher Rights qualification in 2011.
As a solicitor, she would regularly represent clients in Courts both locally and in London, and has dealt with all hearings up to and including contested final and multi-day hearings.
When working as a solicitor, Lisa specialised in family work including divorce, financial proceedings, Children Act proceedings and Family Law Act proceedings. Her main practice areas were financial and Children Act proceedings, and she has dealt with numerous complex and interesting cases.

Laura is a member of Trinity Chambers’ civil and family teams and is qualified to accept instructions under the Direct Access scheme.
Laura has a broad civil practice which regularly sees her instructed to appear in trials and at interim hearings across a range of disciplines. She has an enviable breadth of knowledge, complemented by her earlier training as a commercial litigation solicitor at a leading regional law firm.
Procedurally aware and tactically astute, Laura is also a robust and tenacious advocate with a manner that lay clients find pleasing. Aside from her court work, Laura has a busy advisory and paperwork practice.
Laura’s particular expertise include:
- Insolvency: corporate and individual insolvency;- Commercial: commercial litigation, construction of contracts, agency, partnership and shareholder disputes and guarantees;
Jessica is a member of Trinity Chambers’ civil and family teams.
Jessica accepts instructions in all areas of family law. She acts for local authorities, parents, and children in both private and public Children Act proceedings, with a strong focus on finding the best possible solutions to disputes concerning children. She also represents clients in injunctive proceedings under the Family Law Act and acts in financial proceedings and cohabitee disputes.
Jessica maintains a busy civil practice, and is regularly instructed in small claims and fast-track trials, including road traffic collisions and contractual disputes, and possession proceedings.

Eloise Turnnidge practises in personal injury, family and general common law.
Prior to joining Trinity Chambers, Eloise worked for over two years within the employers’ and public liability team at international law firm Kennedys, covering pre-action disclosure through to multi-track claims. She conducted a range of employers’ and public liability work, including Highways Act and holiday illness claims, in addition to advising on costs.
Whilst managing her own cases, Eloise also assisted Partners in the conduct of claims worth up to £2 million. She gained significant drafting experience, including both pleadings and interim applications, leading to a number of strikeouts and a finding of fundamental dishonesty. Eloise has also appeared in the Employment Tribunal as a representative with the Free Representation Unit.
