We are excited to announce that both Alice Owen and Gabrielle Jan Posner will be joining our chambers. Our Chelmsford barristers are always happy to welcome dedicated legal professionals and are therefore delighted that both will be taking up a position at our chambers.
Alice accepted an invitation to join Trinity Chambers following the completion of her pupillage here, which she began in April 2015. Prior to joining us, Alice held paralegal positions at Hart Brown and the London Borough of Waltham Forest after receiving a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Law.
She also volunteers as a helpline advisor for Your Sanctuary, which offers emotional and practical support for people that have experienced domestic violence.
Gabrielle Jan Posner
Gabrielle is an expert Family Law barrister, specialising in the Care and Private Law Children’s Act, and will be joining us as a door tenant from 1 June. With over 30 years’ experience as a barrister, she has regularly represented parents, family members, children and local authorities in a variety of complex cases.
Gabrielle was appointed a Crown Court Recorder in 2009, and held the position of School Admission Appeals Chairperson in Haringey from 2002 until 2010. She is also the author of ‘Teenager’s Guide to the Law’, a 1995 book designed to help teenage children understand their legal rights.
We look forward to welcoming them both to our chambers, and they will soon be available to provide specialist legal advice and representation to our clients throughout Essex and East Anglia. Get in touch on 01245 605040 for more information.
