Background

Anne-Marie read Law at Queen Mary, University of London and was an Erasmus Scholar at Université de Paris II, Panthéon-Assas where she studied French Law and Language.  Following her undergraduate studies, Anne-Marie completed an LLM Masters of Laws at University College, London, achieving a Merit classification.  During her studies, she worked as an outdoor clerk for a large firm of solicitors, which gave her an insight into the concerns of solicitors.

Anne-Marie’s family law practice includes acting for applicants and respondents in public and private child law matters, including residence, contact and parental responsibility orders, as well as dealing with all aspects of Family Law Act, TLATA and ancillary relief applications.

Anne-Marie’s civil practice includes Protection from Harassment Act 1997 injunction hearings, small claims hearings, bankruptcy, infant settlements and advising on quantum in personal injury cases.

Since joining as a junior tenant, Anne-Marie has continued to develop her regulatory criminal practice in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court, she is regularly instructed by local authorities, the Probation Service, police authorities and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Bilingual in French, having studies and worked as a Paralegal in Paris, she is particularly interested in childen and ancillary relief cases with a foreign element.  Anne-Marie is regarded as an approachable advocate who balances empathy with lay clients with a practical and realistic approach to her advice.
