Background

A founding member of Trinity Chambers and a FLBA member, Anna Williams has for the past thirteen years practised exclusively in the field of Family Law and her practice is now pre-dominantly in Matrimonial Finance. Within this area, Anna has been instructed in many higher value and complex matters, her clients are often professional and business people and Anna is experienced in cases involving the accounts of both small/family businesses and limited companies.

Anna is very aware of the particular anxiety that parties to family cases experience and seeks to offer a combination of experience and expertise together with an approachable and understanding manner.

Anna welcomes the chance to advise in conference at an early stage in proceedings, or prior to proceedings being issued so that both realistic and practical advice can be offered in a cost-effective manner. She is also experienced in settling cases by negotiation to achieve the best possible result both by correspondence and at court.

If proceedings progress to a contested hearing Anna offers assertive and effective advocacy coupled with meticulous preparation and attention to detail. Anna is able to assimilate, analyse, retain and then recall copious amounts of information about the client's case, an invaluable skill when thinking on one's feet!

Her experiences as a parent have served to improve her ability as a family lawyer.
