How does the mediation process work?

The first step is to contact your solicitor (if you have one), or contact Trinity Mediation directly to express your interest in mediation.

Initial Assessment

Once we at Trinity Mediation have been contacted, we will call you to arrange an initial assessment. At this meeting, your mediator will explain the mediation process in detail. The mediator will also ensure that your circumstances are suitable for mediation.

Let us answer your questions

You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about mediation, which will help you to consider whether mediation is the right way forward for you.

Arranging your mediation session

At the end of this meeting, your mediator will help you to arrange the mediation session at a time and place, which is convenient for those involved.

Additional mediation sessions are then agreed between you, the person you are mediating with, and your mediator.

At the end of your mediation process, your mediator will produce any documents, which are required, and will also assist you with any legal procedures which are required to conduct matters.
