Background

Liam completed pupillage in chambers, having previously worked in a Southend-on-Sea based solicitors firm whilst undertaking the Bar Vocational Course part-time.

He was awarded two scholarships from Lincoln’s Inn whilst training; a Droop BVC Scholarship and a Wolfson Pupillage Scholarship. Whilst studying at the University of East Anglia he achieved the PricewaterhouseCoopers award for best overall performance in an accounting for non-specialists module he took during his law degree. He also received a scholarship from the UEA School of Political, Social and International studies for his MA.

His practice predominantly focuses on family law proceedings, but he is also experienced in dealing with a wide range of civil and criminal matters. He regularly appears at the County Court, Family Proceedings Court, Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court. He is pleased to undertake written work and is particularly proficient in drafting advices on quantum in personal injury claims involving soft tissue or whiplash injuries.

He is especially interested in any work with a numerical or mathematical aspect to it.

His hobbies and interests include live comedy, basketball, rugby, football and writing awkwardly about himself in the third person.
