Background
Tina Harrington has 18 years experience in all aspects of family law. Applications for financial relief, whether in the context of divorce proceedings or co-habitee related claims, form the major part of her practice. She also deals with public and private Children Act cases.
During her career Tina has dealt with many high profile matters, including ancillary relief for high wealth clients, cases relating to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act, and those involving ethnic minorities. Tina’s clear concise approach and her ability to help clients feel at ease with court procedures, have earned her respect amongst her peers and clients.
Responsible for setting up Trinity Chambers in 1997, Tina is now Head of Chambers and is charged with all management aspects. Despite her busy schedule, case preparation and research is never compromised. Tina also finds time to cultivate excellent working relations with solicitors and the judiciary and is a member of the FLBA, the Essex Court Liaison Committee, the Court Users Committee and the Essex Bar Mess. Recently, Tina has been appointed an Assistant Deputy Coroner in Essex.
Having lived in mid Essex all her life, Tina has strong links with her local community and is involved in several social projects as an organiser, supporter or fund-raiser.
