Background
Following completion of a degree in English, Spanish and Classical Civilisations, Miss Wilkinson worked for a firm of solicitors in both the UK and Australia, appearing in the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Since joining chambers, Miss Wilkinson’s practice has continued to thrive, encompassing all aspects of family law with a particular emphasis on ancillary relief. Miss Wilkinson regularly advises and acts for applicants and respondents in public and private law matters – residence, contact, parental responsibility, Family Law Act applications, TLATA and ancillary relief.
Furthermore, Miss Wilkinson has experience of civil hearings both in the county and criminal courts and has developed a practice in prosecuting and defending at disciplinary tribunals held by the Rugby Football Union as well as for constituent bodies.
Miss Wilkinson has an appreciation of the demands and concerns of professional and lay clients and is regarded as approachable and conscientious with an ability to ease client concerns whilst providing sensible, accurate advice.
