Alice enjoys a busy practice in all aspects of Family Law including financial remedies, private law disputes concerning children, enforcement proceedings, applications under the Family Law Act 1996 (non-molestation and occupation orders) and public law proceedings.
Alice is a specialist family law barrister whose practice covers the breadth of legal issues concerning families.
In respect of divorce and financial remedy proceedings, Alice offers both court & non-court dispute resolution (NCDR) advocacy and advisory services in all matters arising from separation, including interim applications (MPS, legal services payment orders), applications for variation, enforcement and set aside of financial remedy orders and representation of intervenors.
Alice regularly acts for both applicant and respondent parents & carers in proceedings relating to child arrangements, prohibited steps orders and specific issue orders (such as relocation, change in schools / names) in addition to representing family members whom are applying for a child arrangement order or Special Guardianship Order. Alice is experienced in complex cases involving vulnerable adults and children with significant mental health issues, domestic abuse, allegations of alienating behaviour, substance abuse and other serious safeguarding and welfare concerns.
In public law proceedings, Alice regularly represents local authorities, respondent parents and children in a variety of cases including those involving allegations of non-accidental injury and sexual abuse.
