Teia graduated from the University of Liverpool with a First-Class degree in Law. She went on to complete her Master of Law in Legal Practice (Bar) at BPP University, receiving a distinction.
Teia was awarded the Quartercentenary Scholarship from Middle Temple.
Teia joined Trinity Chambers as a pupil barrister in April 2026. Prior to becoming a pupillage, Teia spent three years working at Suffolk Council as a Paralegal and then progressing to a Caseworker. Teia gained experience with the Local Authority in public law children cases, involving a wide range of applications, such as care proceedings, discharge of care applications, and forced marriage protection order applications. She worked closely on cases involving non-accidental injuries, child abduction and frequently with litigants-in-person.
During pupillage, Teia has developed her experience in financial remedies and private law children matters.
From October 2026, Teia will be accepting instructions in all of Chambers’ practice areas.
Teia is currently under the supervision of Tina Harrington.
