During this time, Martin had the pleasure of giving a seminar to the Franco-Britannique Association of Juristes at the Paris Bar on the exercise of judicial discretion in financial remedies cases in the courts in England and Wales . He retired as a resident Judge of the East London Family Court in 2022 but continue to sit as a District Judge (sitting in retirement) in financial remedies cases and public and private family law.
