Following a music degree at Oxford University, Alice has developed a busy and successful practice as a barrister. She completed pupillage in March 2011 and initially maintained a broad practice, gaining experience in criminal, family and many aspects of civil law.
Alice’s exposure to a range of disciplines has provided her with invaluable insight and experience. She addresses all tribunals with assurance and her friendly yet assertive approach inspires confidence in her clients.
She deals with all aspects of family law, from care work to private law disputes and financial relief. She has a reputation for making clients feel at ease and providing pragmatic advice to achieve the best possible outcome; she is not afraid to fight when necessary.
Alice accepts instructions in a range of civil law disputes. She regularly appears in small claims and fast track trials. She has particular experience in respect of road traffic accidents (including credit hire), contractual disputes and landlord and tenant matters.
Alice continues to accept instructions in criminal matters, having a lot of experience in this area and enjoying successful results.
Alice grew up in East Anglia, where she still lives. In her spare time Alice plays a number of instruments and enjoys walking in the Essex countryside.
