Mediation

The court expects parties to have explored the possibility of reaching a settlement by mediation in financial remededy and private law children cases before seeking the court’s assistance.  This can also take place after court proceedings have commenced and can save parties considerable expense and time given the inevitable delays encountered when taking a dispute to trial. We at Trinity Chambers have considerable experience in advising clients regarding the possibility of mediation and its consequences as well as in hosting mediations and providing the mediators.

Private Financial Dispute Resolution (Private FDR)

Currently the courts are hard pressed to provide judges for a Financial Dispute Resolution hearing and long delays can be experienced before a short appointment in a busy court list is made available. A private FDR may offer a solution to these difficulties. Trinity Chambers has the experience in depth to offer the practitioner who can give the early neutral evaluation of the case thus saving both parties time and expense.
